StackNine is a small UK software company. Veilio is our first product.

Why we started

Organisations protect the people who review distressing material with rotas, time limits and counselling. These all help, but none of them change what happens when the next image opens on screen.

Software can change that part, and very little has been written for it. That is the work we do.

How we build

Safe when things go wrong
The protective behaviour is what happens by default and when something fails. Nobody has to remember to switch it on.
On your equipment
The material our software handles stays with you. We do not receive a copy and have nowhere to keep one.
Clear about limits
Where a feature gives less protection than it might appear to, the software says so at the point someone relies on it.
Built with the people who use it
What we ship is shaped by reviewers, their managers and the psychologists who support them.
